A mentor to me is a person with many good traits. One of those traits is being genuine. Another one of those traits is she or he has to be really nice and friendly. Also most of all they have to be responsible and respectful. They also have to act like a leader and be happy to help people. These traits to me show what a mentor is.
Mentoring Projects I have done
One mentoring project i have done is helping kids with their homework. They were
elementary school kids.This was on 2/15/11. I did this because i figured out that
i know stuff from elementary so i could use it to help students with their homework.
Mentoring Project Plan
I would like to make my school a more beautiful place with my project. That is why I decided to paint a mural. This mural will have a painting of kids working together. This will work as a mentoring project because it would be able to help the students that are working on it, to learn how to work in groups. My mentoring project will help make my school a beautiful place. Some problems we might encounter are no room for the mural or not able to get permission. But i am sure this project will help our school be a better place.
Reflections
Mentoring is a great thing to do if you want to be an important person in your community. It helps you gain respect from other people. Its also good for your resume. This will help you fill out a good application when you sign up for a job or college as an extracurricular activity.
