Smart Goals:In this section i will explain what each letter in smart is. I will also explain my goal and what i will do to

What does SMART mean?
Specific-What exactly do I want? Measurable-How I know I've met my goal? Attainable-Can it be Done? Realistic-Can i do it? Timeframe-When is it due?
My SMART Goal? My smart Goal is to finish my service and mentoring log.
How am I doing with my SMART Goal? 16 December 2010 I am doing well with my SMART Goal. I stayed after school on 12/15/10 to help with the decorations for the winter social at my school which means i have service hours done.

How Do I use Cornell Notes?
steps to writing Cornell notes. There is many he first step is to divide your paper into 2 pieces the left side larger than the right side leaving space for your summary on the bottom. Next is to put a title on the top. After that you write your notes on the right side. The third step is to write the topic on the left side. At last you write the summary on the bottom. On the right side there could be an explanation, description, notes, graph or diagram. On the left side there could be the topic, question, term or keyword.
Cooperative Skills:
1.Break Tension and be friendly.
You got to make sure everyone in the group is comfortable
, so we do this to make it easier to talk and shoe others that we are welcoming.
2.Learn and Use Names This skill is important because it makes people feel that you are serious
3.Arrange Desks properly This skill is important because it shows that you are on task and working hard.
4.Use positive body language It is important to show that you respect your group and respect their ideas by using body language you show this.
5.Be aware of eye Contact When you are aware of eye contact you are showing respect and that you are listening to your group.
6.Listen to others and take turns giving ideas When you listen to others you show that you think their ideas are good and that you appreciate them
7.Use positive comments encourage and express appreciation It is important to make your group members feel like they are doing a good job and by giving positive comments and expressing appreciation you show this.
8.Be helpful and assist each other When you are helpful and assist each other it shows you are glad to be in that group and that makes your group members feel good.
9.Disagree in a agreeable way Disagreeing in a agreeable way makes your group members feel their ideas are good and that you are glad to use them and by doing this you show appreciation.
10.Stay on task When you stay on task you finish your work in a satisfactory way and in time.

Cooperative skills can help you in college a lot. Mostly I think because in college you have to work sometimes in groups. These skills can help you in knowing how to behave when you are working in groups. Sometimes you don't get to pick your groups and you may not like your group. But with these skills you can work well with your group.
